We had a simply fantastic meal here last night. We couldnt fault it and the steak was absolutely fabulous!!!! The hot puds were lovely too. Great to chat to the chef and he certainly has a passion for his job which shows in his food. Thank you for a great meal and we will most certainly be back!

Just had our first experience of Emily's: the BEST STEAK EVER! Small dining room, but not uncomfortably so, nice atmosphere, good service. Will definitely be returning.

Don't be put off by the outside the food more than makes up for the decor!
Alan likes good quality simple Eglish food and I like to be more adventurous, the menu allows for both.
It was good to hear from the people on the next table that several of their friends had recommended Emilys and when their food arrived it looked delicious.
Ours lived up to expectations. The ribs were hot and spicy, the salmon parcels were light, crispy with a delicate flavour. Our steaks were the best that we'd had for some time, succulent, juicy and tender - superb!!
Small venue but this just adds to the atmosphere it can be as sociable or intimate as you choose.
We will definately be coming back. Many thanks to the staff, Emily and Li for making us feel so welcome

Told we were the first party to have the Christmas 2010 menu, chose the Lobster - Excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful.

I've been before but my girlfriend hadn't.
I persuaded her to have a black pepper sizzler and she loved it. My rib-eye was quality as always.
Great service and phenomenal steaks!

Came to the restaurant for the first time based on reviews from this site and others. Don't be put off by the location of this restaurant - judge it by the food! And how good is that - well, it was the best steak I have had outside of the US (second best ever). The whole meal was well prepared and very tasty. Would recommend it to anyone. We'll be back !!

I visited tonight (Tue 4 May) with Dave Ellis, and I wanted to say how impressed I was.
The food was the best meal out I have had, the staff were so welcoming and the atmosphere was great, even though there were only a couple of diners in. You all made me feel so welcome, like I was an old friend.
Absolutely first class, I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Wow...what a fantastic restaurant...
